Healing, a word that everyone who is affected either directly or indirectly by a disease or any form of hurting will seek, wish, or pray for among others. As a result there are various ways of healing, prayer and healing meditation are the capabilities from the source input in the body for maintenance-healing.

Besides, we don’t apply to our spiritual intelligence. However, among these methods which are used to realize healing, which is the most effective or which is the sure way towards healing? Well, medication is the most common method used. Medication involves the use of medicinal substances which have been identified to cause healing. Medicines are used as a result of discomforts that come with illness for example, pain. In addition, medicines are used because of the need for quick healing. However, do these really deliver full healing or they just deliver the required “healing”.

Take a painkiller for example, the majority of painkiller don’t actually stop the pain, they simply prevent the sensory system that identifies feeling from accessing and identifying the feeling. Therefore, it is true to say that, painkillers are ineffective and they don’t deliver actually healing. The creators of the body designed it with a healing mechanism. For example, what happens when you have a cut? Blood will flow out of the cut, then a clot is formed to close it, then with time, new skin cells develop and permanently close the cut. Blood flows to clean the cut, then the clot which forms shortly after prevents excessive blood flow and entry of foreign substances.

The source of humankind is capable of healing the body. Some of the healing capabilities from the source have been input in the body for maintenance-healing, but if the body is subjected to threatening illnesses, then additional power can be sourced from the source. How does one do this? This can be done through prayer which connects one to the source. While prayer is a universal word, it means a different thing for different persons depending on the belief they have for their source. It can also be done through meditation.
